A 'Passionate Heart' - Our Valentines Trio Cocktail Pouch!

Hello!

You may have landed here, having purchased one of our 'Passionate Heart' Valentines Cocktail Pouches... so you'll be pleased to know that you're in exactly the right place to learn how to make the serves!

N.B. Please keep the pouch refrigerated!

The pouches form the base for our take on three different cocktails and include our Heartwood of Oak Moor Meadow Gin, Passoa, Lime Juice & Sugar Syrup.

You can chose whether to make a couple of different cocktails, or stick with the same again!

  1. A Passionate Gimlet
  2. A 'Passionate Pornstar' Martini
  3. A 'Passionate Frenchy' - A French 75 Cocktail

You'll need to purchase some Passionfruit & Prosecco if you want to make one of the second 2 cocktails... see the recipes below.

The table below shows an example of how many of each cocktail you could make, depending on the pack size you purchased!

Here's the instructions you'll need for making one of the 3 cocktails!

A Passionate Gimlet

This style of cocktail is one of our absolute favourites, if you enjoy a gimlet, make sure you check back on our website soon for more Gimlet serves!

You could serve this 'on the rocks' in an Old Fashioned' (Whisky glass), or chilled in a Coupe Glass... here's how:

This measure serves 2!

Served in a Coupe

  1. Pop the glass in the fridge for an hour or so to make sure it's lovely and cold (only take it out when you're ready to shake & serve).
  2. Give the pouch a good shake to mix the lime juice which may have separated a little.
  3. Fill a cocktail shaker (or other sealable container, i.e. a Kilner Jar, or sports drink bottle) with Ice
  4. Measure 160ml of the liquid and pour on top of the ice.
  5. Seal the container & shake for 10-15 seconds to chill the liquid
  6. Strain into the glasses
  7. OPTIONAL: Float half a passionfruit in the glass
  8. Serve immediately

Served in an Old Fashioned

  1. Fill the glass with Ice
  2. Give the pouch a good shake to mix the lime juice which may have separated a little.
  3. Pour 80ml of the mix into each glass & serve immediately

The 'Passionate Pornstar' Martini

We rather enjoy this served without the Prosecco... but drink as you wish!

Best served in a Martini Glass.

This measure serves 2!

  1. Pop the glass in the fridge for an hour or so to make sure it's lovely and cold (only take it out when you're ready to shake & serve).
  2. Give the pouch a good shake to mix the lime juice which may have separated a little.
  3. Fill a cocktail shaker (or other sealable container, i.e. a Kilner Jar, or sports drink bottle) with Ice
  4. Measure 160ml of the liquid and pour on top of the ice.
  5. Scoop the 'gubbins' (yep, that's our technical term) of 1 passionfruit into the shaker.
  6. Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds to chill the liquid and blend the passionfruit
  7. Strain into the chilled glasses
  8. Garnish with half a passionfruit
  9. OPTIONAL: Top with Prosecco
  10. Serve immediately

    A Passionate 'Frenchy'

    Our little spin on a French 75 & best served in a Champagne Flute.

    1. Give the pouch a good shake to mix the lime juice which may have separated a little.
    2. Measure 45ml of the liquid into each glass
    3. Top with 50ml of Prosecco
    4. Serve immediately!
